FCC Flags Foreign‑Built Routers As Security Threat, Tightens Import Rules

The FCC has added foreign‑made routers, including Chinese manufacturer TP-Link, as well as U.S.-based companies that manufacture routers overseas, to its “Covered List,” banning the import of new device models over supply chain and cybersecurity concerns.
